WOOD – At Caressant Care, Woodstock on Thursday, March 4, 2010, Sheila Wood (nee Brickman) of Woodstock in her 85th year. Born in Edinborough, Scotland on June 12, 1925. Beloved wife of Allen for nearly 65 years. Sister-in-law of Warren Wood (Alice) of Biggar, Saskatchewan, Lois Dundas of Woodstock and Tony Wood of Windsor. Also lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Stanley and Anne Brickman, brother David Brickman, and brothers-in-law James Dundas and Kenneth Wood. Sheila attended College Avenue Church and sang in the choir for several years. Friends will be received at the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm for a Service of Remembrance in the chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev. David Duncan officiating. Cremation followed by interment later at Zion 7th Line Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the College Avenue Church would be appreciated.
