FLEMING, C. David - Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock General Hospital on Monday July 26, 2010, David Fleming of Woodstock in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Mildred (Myl) Kathryn Forbes whom he married July 9, 1949. Dear father of David Fleming and Carole Ann and her daughter Leslie of Kitchener and Scott Fleming of Massillon, Ohio. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Katelyn, Ian, Jillian and he will be missed by Patty Taylor of New Philadelphia, Ohio. Survived by his brother Robert and wife Beryl of Barrie. Dave had a long career with Western General Mutual Insurance Company and was a veteran of WWII having served in the Royal Canadian Air Force where he was a tail gunner in a Halifax Bomber. Relatives and friends may call at the Smith-LeRoy Funeral Home, 69 Wellington Street North, Woodstock on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. Private Funeral Service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel. Interment later in North Embro Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation (cheques accepted) would be appreciated by the family.
